Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities: The Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring the timely preparation and submission of quotations. This role includes maintaining accurate sales reporting, collaborating with internal teams, and staying informed about industry trends to enhance sales effectiveness. 1) Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead Generation: - Conduct a minimum of 6-8 client or field visits per day to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
-Generate at least 3 inquiries daily through networking and market engagement. 2. Quotation Preparation: - Fill out and submit the ESD to the respective coordinators for preparing quotations.
-Prepare and submit three quotations daily, ensuring alignment with client needs and company pricing strategies. 3. Client Relationship Management: - Maintain and update the client database regularly to ensure accurate tracking of interactions and opportunities.
-Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions. 4. Technical Specification Collection: - Collect technical specifications after an order is awarded to ensure proper execution of client projects. Template for Reference 5. Sales Reporting: - Track and report on sales activities and performance metrics to the management team regularly. 6. Collaboration: - Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries and effective processing of orders. 7. Continuous Improvement: - Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques to enhance effectiveness in the role. 8. Additional Responsibilities: - Perform any other tasks as assigned by management to support sales operations.2) Essential Skills: - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
-Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
-Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. 3) Qualification: - Minimum Graduation: Undergraduate - Maximum Graduation: Masters 4) Salary: - CTC: 4,80,000 - 6,60,000 annually (depending on the industry and location).
-Commission: Potential for additional earnings based on performance (usually quarterly achievement of target). 5) Experience: - Minimum Experience: 2-3 years into Relevant Industries or in Building Materials.
-Desirable: Preferable from Elevator/Manufacturing/project management/EPC/DG ste/Material Handling - Industry/Electrical Contracting or Panel manufacturing Industry/ HVAC/Car Parking Industry/Special Equipment manufacturing industry.
-To avoid: - preferably from IT/Software/BPO/FMCG Trading/financial Service Industries. (ref:updazz.com)
