Executive - Reservation - Hotel (1-4 Yrs) Ahmedabad (B2C/Retail/Channel Sales)

Job Description - Reservations Executive- Process telephone and email reservations according to room and rate availability, ensuring that full and accurate details are obtained and input accordingly into PMS.- Deal with travel agent bookings, vouchers and credit requests, ensuring that the hotel s policy is adhered to at all times.- Process all reservations and extranet messages ensuring that all bookings are accurate.- To be fully conversant with rate groups and sales accounts procedures.- To ensure that all reservations standards and procedures are met with regard to reservations and system input.- Update reservations, to input and record cancellations and amendments, making sure all bookings are accurate.- To liaise with sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure that VIP guests are recognized as part of the VIP procedures, including room allocations, amenities and arrival welcome.- To determine from reservations any sales leads for future business and ensure these are passed to the sales department.- Ensure reservations are taken accurately & traces are in place for the front office to follow up as required.
