Position: General Manager Role Overview The General Manager oversees all operational, financial, and administrative aspects of the hospital, ensuring efficient management, regulatory compliance, and high-quality patient care. The role requires strategic leadership, operational excellence, and coordination across clinical and non-clinical teams. Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for hospital operations, including clinical, administrative, and support services.
• Develop and execute strategic plans, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, revenue streams, and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards (NABH/JCI), and statutory requirements.
• Supervise department heads, administrative staff, and interdepartmental coordination.
• Oversee patient care quality, safety, and satisfaction metrics.
• Plan and implement hospital growth, expansion, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and contracts.
• Resolve escalated patient or staff issues professionally and effectively.
• Report to hospital board/trustees and provide performance updates and strategic recommendations.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and staff development programs.

Qualification & Experience

• Education: Graduate/MBA in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or equivalent.
• Experience: 7 years in hospital management or healthcare administration preferred.
• Certifications: NABH/Healthcare management certifications desirable.
