Area Sales Executive Edible Oils (retail/brands) - Chennai Our client is a company engaged in manufacturing, distributing, and branding of edible oils and specialty fats in India. It is a subsidiary of one of the world s largest vegetable oil companies having large oil palm plantations in Indonesia and also has downstream refineries and processing, and is listed on the Singapore Exchange. Our client requires an AREA SALES EXCEUTIVE for CHENNAI, Tamil Nadu, for sales of EDIBLE OILS (retail/brands). The job will be a full-time employment, based out of Chennai, India.Interested applicants can send in their Resume Details of the position are as under:JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title/Grade: Area Sales Executive - Edible Oils (retail/brands)Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu stateEducational Qualification : Graduate /PostgraduateExperience Needed: 10 - 15 years. NOTE: Experience in sales of edible oils (brands/retail) is preferred.Reporting to: State Sales Head - Tamil NaduPrincipal Accountabilities:Business: Achieve State Primary / Secondary targets- GTM : Should have a good knowledge in Sales automation , also have a better Knowledge in Urban / Rural business.- Sourcing : Achieve Primary / Secondary targets by driving the Sales Officers and ensuring that the sales process is followed rigorously. (Productivity, Coverage target Volume Secondary sales, Market Share and compliance to credit policy)- Collections : Achieve NIL overdue month on month- Operating costs : Maintain expenses within Budgeted limits for the region.- MIS : Collate and share market information, customer insights & performance parameters in specified formats on a regular basis.- Performance Review : Conduct weekly/monthly/quarterly review of state - performance and take corrective actions.- Marketing Initiatives : Develop and implement effective marketing activities to improve Market share and weighted distribution.- Team Management : Recruit, train, motivate, mentor and review performance of Sales Officers / other support staff.- Rewards and Recognition : Identify excellent performers / achievers and recomment them for annual awards/immediate recognition.- Channel Management : Assessment & Appointment of right Dealers & Distributors / Depots after thorough screening.- Pricing & Sales Hygiene : Take decisions on trade margins for different channel partners.b) Ensure adherence to credit norms & receivables norms as per policy and take corrective/ preventive actions where necessary.- Business Intelligence: Monitoring market & competition and provide timely feedback,Identifying & quantifying new markets and Provide inputs based on analysis of sales data- to other functions & overall business plan.Preferred Profile:- Should be able handle Business and collections through the team.- Good team handling skills- Should identify locals references to source business and Manpower- Should be able to converse in Tamil - this is a Mandatory requirement.Specific Skills:- Confidence.- Perseverance.- Analytical abilities- Patience.- Excellent interpersonal skills.- Commercial awareness.- Numerical skills.
