Job Description
Note: ONLY candidates with proven experience in International Tea Sales will be considered. Role Summary:We are seeking a passionate and commercially driven International Sales Executive / Manager to expand the global reach of our premium Indian teas. The ideal candidate will identify and convert international opportunities across distributors, retailers, and HORECA segments, while building long-term client relationships and ensuring seamless export coordination. Key Responsibilities:- Acquire and onboard international buyers, importers, retailers, tea rooms, cafes, hotels, gourmet stores, and wellness brands.- Develop deep product knowledge (Darjeeling, Assam, herbal blends, wellness teas, custom blends).- Generate qualified leads via LinkedIn, B2B platforms (Alibaba, IndiaMART), and outreach.- Conduct impactful sales pitches, sampling strategies, and virtual presentations.- Negotiate MOQs, pricing, packaging, and terms of sale with profitability in mind.- Maintain and grow client accounts with a focus on reorders and upselling.- Coordinate with internal teams on export documentation, labeling, and logistics.- Track market trends, competitor activities, and country-specific compliance.- Maintain CRM and share weekly reports with leadership.Qualification & Skills:- Bachelor s degree in International Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).- 2-7 years of international sales experience in the tea industry is mandatory.- Strong knowledge of export procedures, customs, and INCOTERMS.- Prior experience with distributor onboarding, sampling, and pricing models.- Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal).Tech-savvy: CRM, Excel, and B2B portals.
