Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Power Plant Design Engineer specializing in gas and steam turbine machinery selection to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing power plant systems, focusing on the selection and integration of gas and steam turbines. This role requires a deep understanding of turbine technology, performance parameters, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross:functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable power generation.
Major Responsibilities:

Design and optimize power plant systems with a focus on Gas and Steam turbine machinery.

Select appropriate turbines based on performance parameters, efficiency, and project requirements.

Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for turbine selection and integration.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Develop and review technical specifications, design documents, and engineering drawings.
:
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and operational phases.

Proficiency in software application such as GateCycle(TM), GT PRO and ST PRO for gas turbine combined cycle and cogeneration plant design and optimization
Education and Experience Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university and
20 years of relevant work experience

The Mechanical Engineer will work as part of Global Bechtel team and should have basic flair forworking with personnel of different nationalities. Should have a good proficiency for spoken and
writtenEnglish language.
