Area Manager - Retail/Channel Sales - Building Material (3-10 Yrs) Agartala,Aligarh (B2C/Retail/Channel Sales)

Job Purpose:To drive sales and market share growth through effective management of the dealer/distributor network in the retail channel for building materials. This role focuses on business development, relationship management, and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory.Key Responsibilities:1. Dealer & Channel Management- Identify, appoint, and onboard new dealers and distributors.- Maintain healthy relationships with existing channel partners.- Ensure proper stock levels and timely order fulfillment through dealers.- Monitor dealer performance and ensure ROI is maintained.2. Sales & Target Achievement- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in the assigned territory.- Generate demand through dealer networks and ensure secondary sales.- Track competition activities and pricing strategies in the market.3. Retail Development- Conduct regular market visits to support dealers and influence retailers.- Improve product visibility and availability in the retail channel.- Plan and execute local-level promotional activities, schemes, and branding.4. Reporting & Market Intelligence- Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and forecast demand.- Analyze sales trends, market share, and competitor activities.- Share feedback and suggestions to improve product or channel performance.5. Collections & Commercials- Ensure timely payments and collections from channel partners.- Resolve dealer/distributor disputes related to pricing, schemes, or service.Key Skills Required:- Strong understanding of channel sales and dealer management.- Good communication and negotiation skills.- Territory knowledge and experience in B2B and B2C building material sales.- Result-oriented with strong interpersonal and networking abilities.- Proficiency in MS Excel, sales CRMs, and reporting tools.Preferred Background:- Experience in industries like tiles, cement, plywood, paints, electricals, sanitaryware, or adhesives.- Previous exposure to retail/dealer/channel development roles.Interested candidates please wtsapp me on 8779617605 (ref:updazz.com)
