Job Description
- Job Title: Business Development Executive- Location: Surat, Gujarat (Base Location)- Experience: 1.5 to 4 Years- Salary Bracket Up to 8 LPA (Per Annum)- Qualification Graduation in Any StreamRole Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated, presentable, and results-driven Business Development Executive to spearhead our market expansion efforts. This role is based in Surat but requires extensive travel to new and existing markets to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. The ideal candidate must be eager to learn, possess a strong foundation in sales principles, and be comfortable building a network on the go.Key Responsibilities:Market Penetration & Travel:- Undertake extensive and frequent business travel to target cities/regions to generate new business and meet prospective clients.- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities, target markets, and potential client segments.- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences while traveling to network and build a pipeline of leads.Sales & Client Acquisition:- Identify, prospect, and qualify new sales leads through cold calls, networking, and referrals.- Conduct impactful and professional sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.- Negotiate contract terms and close sales agreements to achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.Relationship Management:- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting, and trusting relationships with new clients and key stakeholders.- Act as the primary point of contact for new clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and high level of customer satisfaction.Reporting & Strategy:- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client data, and sales progress in the CRM system.- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and travel expenses to the management team.- Actively contribute to the development and refinement of business development strategies based on on-the-ground insights.Requirements & Qualifications- Educational Background: A Bachelor s Degree/Graduation in any stream.- Experience: 1.5 to 4 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or a related client-facing role.- Travel Readiness: MUST be ready for extensive, frequent, and often unpredictable travel, which is a core requirement of the role.Skills & Attributes:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and a relevant regional language.- A professional, presentable, and well-groomed demeanor for client interactions.- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.- High level of self-motivation, a results-driven attitude, and a strong willingness to learn new products and market dynamics quickly.- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling.- Familiarity with CRM software and basic MS Office tools is preferred.What We Offer:- A competitive salary package up to 8 LPA.- Performance-based incentives and bonuses.- Opportunities for rapid professional growth and career advancement.- Exposure to diverse markets and a challenging, dynamic work environment.
