Assure Reconciliation: To make sure the financial ledger is balanced, you will reconcile reported payments with bank deposits and clearinghouse reports on a daily and weekly basis, looking into and fixing any discrepancies. Determine and Distribute Denials: From the Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) or Explanation of Benefits (EOB), you will carefully examine and classify denial codes and non-payment remarks. For prompt action and appeal, you will appropriately forward these denials to the appropriate AR Follow-up team. Maintain Audit Readiness: You will make sure that all posting operations adhere to payer contracts, client policies, and HIPAA standards. You will also make sure that every transaction has a clear, accurate, and well-organised audit trail. Support Financial Insight: You will identify trends related to low reimbursements, consistent contractual discrepancies, or specific denial codes, reporting these findings to the AR and Management teams for contract review or billing corrections.
