Job Summary:
In this role, you will participate in the design and preparation of construction drawings, project schedules, graphic presentations and Plant Design and Piping (PD and P) drawings. You will originate basic deliverables and documents and verify compliance of pipe configurations and manufacturers ' drawings. Your efforts will contribute to ensuring PD and P design meets industry best practices and compliance standards.
Major Responsibilities:

Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications. Performs engineering tasks, within a discipline, having some degree of complexity. Performs assignments, which have clear and specific objectives and require the
investigation of a limited number of variables for an engineering discipline within a global business unit.

Participates in the operation of a small size design group in a discipline. Requires a good knowledge of design and drafting techniques, engineering drawings, SP3D/Revit, 2:D and 3:D CAD, reading of drawings and reproduction methods used by the discipline.

Directly performs the work includes the preparation of layouts, study drawings, nozzle orientations detailed 2:D and 3:D Computer Aided Design (CAD) design models and construction drawings.

Monitors and checks work for compliance with approved design standards to provide quality design, reliable/safe plant operation and construction economy.

Prepares design and drafting procedures to standardize design effort. Coordinates to resolve problems and interpret drawings and documents. Reviews or defines engineering scope changes, as required, for project management. Supports the creation of a work environment that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork,
empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.

Understands the inter disciplinary coordination on the project. Follows ES and H guidelines.

A recognized degree in a job:related engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited college or university, or a professional license in an appropriate engineering or scientific discipline from a recognized licensing board, or specialized courses in relevant general engineering,
