Job Title: Associate Business Analyst (Product) Location: Hyderabad Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Associate Business Analyst (BA) will support our product team by gathering and analyzing business requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet market needs, and contributing to strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong analytical background, a passion for problem-solving, and a keen interest in understanding and driving product success. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering & Analysis: o Collaborate with product manager, UX/UI designers, and engineers to understand and document business and technical requirements. o Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather insights and validate requirements. o Translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for the development team. Data Analysis & Reporting: o Analyze product performance data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement. o Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and support decision-making. o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product success and suggest actionable recommendations. Process Improvement: o Identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose innovative solutions to optimize product workflows. o Assist in the implementation of process improvements, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: o Work closely with development, design, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive approach to product development. o Support agile methodologies by participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings. o Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and understanding. Market Research & Competitive Analysis: o Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends and potential product enhancements. o Provide insights that inform product strategy and roadmap development. Qualifications: Educational Background: o Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, IT, - Economics, or a related field. Internships or relevant project experience in a product company are advantageous. Technical Skills: o Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar BI tools). o Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello). Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: o Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail and a knack for identifying trends in data. Communication Skills: o Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Interpersonal Skills: o Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Desirable: o Exposure to product lifecycle management and familiarity with product development best practices. o Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and customer journey mapping
