We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of an Associate Director, Software Engineering
In this role, you will:

Establish Engineering Practices:
:
Define and implement engineering standards and best practices across the organization.
:
Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
:
Governance and Compliance:
:
Oversee adherence to established engineering practices and governance frameworks.
:
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
:
Technical Leadership:
:
Provide hands:on guidance and support to engineering teams in the use of Google Cloud and CI/CD pipelines.
:
Mentor and coach team members in application architecture, data management, and AI technologies.
:
Collaboration and Communication:
:
Work closely with cross:functional teams to ensure alignment on engineering practices and objectives.
:
Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams to promote best practices.
:
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
:
Stay up:to:date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the engineering practice.
:
Lead initiatives to continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies, including the use of DORA metrics to assess performance.
:
Performance Metrics:
:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including DORA metrics, to measure the effectiveness of engineering practices.
:
Report on progress and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
:
Bachelor 's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master 's degree preferred.
:
Minimum of (X) years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on engineering practices and governance.
:
Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
:
Proven experience in application architecture and data management.
:
Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in banking or financial services.
:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
:
Strong problem:solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
:
Technical acumen in cloud computing, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycle.
:
Ability to influence and drive change within a complex organizational structure.
:
Strong analytical skills to assess engineering practices and recommend improvements.
