Desktop Support Engineer

Respond to user inquiries and resolve issues related to computer hardware, software, and peripherals.Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, operating systems, and applications.Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems (Windows, Mac, Linux environments).Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.Provide remote and on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.Maintain Active Directory accounts, group policies, and user permissions.Document support activities, solutions, and maintain a knowledge base.Collaborate with vendors for hardware/software repairs and warranty claims.Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.Assist in IT asset management and inventory tracking.Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role.Strong knowledge of Windows OS, macOS, Linux, and Microsoft Office Suite.Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and remote troubleshooting tools.Hands-on experience with Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, JAMF (for Mac), and antivirus solutions Cheranalloor, Ernakulam
