Company Overview:Our client is a leading FMCG company with a strong presence in the Indian market. They manufacture and distribute a wide range of food and beverage products across various channels, including general trade, modern trade, and HORECA. Their extensive distribution network ensures product availability across the country.Role Overview:The Assistant Manager - HORECA Sales role based in Gurgaon/Gurugram is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share within the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering) channel. This role involves managing key accounts, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with HORECA clients. The Assistant Manager collaborates closely with the sales team, marketing team, and supply chain to ensure seamless execution and achievement of sales targets. Success in this role directly impacts the company s revenue and brand visibility within the HORECA sector.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve sales targets within the assigned HORECA territory, contributing to overall revenue growth.- Manage and nurture relationships with key HORECA accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.- Identify and onboard new HORECA clients, expanding the company s reach and market share.- Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities, informing strategic decisions.- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities targeted at the HORECA channel, increasing brand awareness and product adoption.- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the sales manager, enabling data-driven decision-making.- Ensure timely collection of payments from HORECA clients, maintaining healthy cash flow.- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of products to HORECA clients, optimizing customer satisfaction.Required Skillset:- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow sales within the HORECA channel.- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.- Proficiency in sales planning and execution, with a focus on achieving targets.- Strong understanding of the FMCG industry and HORECA market dynamics.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
