Job Description
Key Responsibilities1. Field Sales & Acquisition (80-90% On-Ground Role)- Visit diamond manufacturing units and large jewelry retailers regularly.- Generate new business opportunities and onboard clients.2. Relationship Management- Build long-term partnerships with manufacturers.- Position our lab as their primary certification partner.3. B2B Business Development- Pitch to large-scale jewelry showrooms to mandate our certification for their inventory.- Conduct persuasive presentations and product demonstrations.4. Market Intelligence- Track competitor pricing, services, and strategies within your assigned city (Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad).- Share actionable insights to strengthen our competitive positioning.5. Operations Coordination- Facilitate smooth pickup and delivery of diamonds between clients and the laboratory.- Ensure timely processing and client satisfaction.Ideal Candidate ProfileIndustry Experience :- 2-5 years of experience in the diamond or jewelry industry.- Prior experience selling diamonds in a reputed jewelry showroom is highly preferred.Technical Expertise :- Working knowledge of the 4Cs: Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat.- Familiarity with diamond grading standards and certification processes.Sales Competency :- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.- Comfortable with in-person cold visits at jewelry hubs.Language & Communication :- Fluency in local language (Tamil / Kannada / Telugu / Malayalam) and English.- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.Mobility Requirement :- Must own a vehicle for daily field visits across assigned territories.
