Job Description
Role Purpose:To support Company s aggressive growth strategy, we are creating a dedicated Acquisition Leadership role focused on New Business Development. The role will follow a Hunter-Farmer model, where the candidate will not only acquire new corporate donors but also nurture them for 12-24 months before transitioning them to the Retention Team.The role will be responsible for driving - 50 Cr annual new donor acquisition through CSR partnerships, institutional grants, and corporate collaborations.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Acquisition (Hunter Focus)- Own and achieve - 50 Cr annual new funding target via CSR partnerships, institutional grants, and corporate alliances.- Identify and engage new corporates and sectors aligned with UWBe themes: Climate Action, Education & Health, Rural Development, and DEI.- Lead high-value negotiations and multi-year MoUs, aligning donor ESG/CSR priorities with UWBe programs.- Position UWBe as a collective impact driver that effectively maps corporate funding to community needs.- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to drive successful partnerships.2. Account Incubation (Farmer Phase)- Retain ownership of newly acquired accounts for 12-24 months to ensure strong relationship building and project stability.- Act as the primary donor interface, overseeing project launch, implementation monitoring, and reporting.- Ensure smooth transition to the Retention Team after incubation with proper documentation and knowledge transfer.3. Solution Design & Proposal DevelopmentDevelop compelling proposals around UWBe s flagship initiatives such as:- Environment: Mangrove restoration, afforestation, water conservation projects.- Social Impact: STEM education labs, PHC strengthening, livelihood and skilling programs for marginalized communities.- Employee Volunteering: Corporate engagement activities like lake cleanups, mentorship, and sustainability initiatives.Candidate Profile:Experience:- Proven track record in corporate fundraising, CSR partnerships, B2B sales, or key account management.- Experience closing large-ticket strategic deals and building long-term corporate partnerships.- Senior professionals with strong networks in corporates, HNIs, and institutions preferred.Skills:- Hunter mindset with ability to nurture long-term partnerships.- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.- Strategic ability to align corporate ESG/CSR priorities with social impact programs.- Understanding of CSR regulations, government priorities, and corporate giving trends is an advantage.
