Script Writer - Micro-Drama Platform (2-4 Yrs) Bangalore (Content/Design)

Role Overview: Client is an AI-native microdrama platform that turns ideas into bingeable, vertical episodic stories built for mobile-first consumption (30-90 seconds per episode). Alongside the platform, we develop in-house flagship titles to define the creative and storytelling benchmark for pacing, emotion, and retention.We are looking for a Script Writer to craft emotionally gripping, high-retention microdrama stories using AI-powered, LLM-driven workflows. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling and scalable content systems, enabling rapid ideation and iteration without compromising narrative depth. You will work closely with Creative Directors and Editors to turn story concepts into binge-worthy episodic microdrama series optimized for engagement, retention, and performance.Key Responsibilities:- Write original fictional scripts for short-form microdrama episodes with strong hooks, emotional beats, and cliffhangers.- Develop clear episodic story arcs (setup - escalation - reversal - cliff).- Craft compelling dialogue, inner monologues, and narration suited for fast- paced, mobile viewing.- Ensure scripts are visually executable, action-forward, and minimal in exposition.- Work within an AI-powered, LLM-driven writing pipeline to explore multiple story directions and variations.- Rapidly iterate on scenes, dialogue, pacing, and narrative beats.- Edit, polish, and humanize AI-assisted drafts to ensure originality, emotional resonance, and story logic.- Maintain consistency across characters, episodes, and story arcs while working at speed.- Write stories designed for retention-first consumption with strong first-seconds hooks and continuous narrative pressure.- Iterate scripts based on editorial and performance feedback without diluting story intent.- Collaborate closely with Creative Directors and Editors throughout development and revision cycles.- Execute fast, high-quality rewrites aligned with creative direction and narrative standards.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Strong command over story structure, dialogue, pacing, and emotional beats.- Ability to write clear, concise, and emotionally engaging scripts optimized for short attention spans.- Experience working in AI-assisted or AI-native content workflows.- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative creative environment.
