Business Development Executive - India OperationsLocation : India (Remote / On-site as applicable)Employment Type : Full-TimePosition Overview :- We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Executive to drive business growth across India operations. The role focuses on identifying new clients, expanding market presence, developing strategic relationships, and promoting consulting and advisory services.- The ideal candidate will play a key role in lead generation, client acquisition, revenue growth, and strengthening the firm s footprint in the Indian market.Key Responsibilities :1. Business Development & Sales :- Identify and develop new business opportunities across India.- Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking activities.- Pitch consulting and advisory services to prospective clients.- Prepare and present proposals, engagement letters, and commercial offers.- Negotiate and close new client engagements.- Achieve assigned revenue and client acquisition targets.2. Client Relationship Management :- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.- Serve as the primary contact during pre-sales discussions.- Coordinate internally for smooth client onboarding and service delivery.- Follow up consistently on proposals, negotiations, and contract closures.- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.3. Market Research & Strategic Expansion- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.- Identify high-growth industries and potential target segments.- Provide market intelligence and insights to senior leadership.- Support expansion strategies and new service offerings.4. Marketing & Brand Support :- Support LinkedIn campaigns, webinars, and professional events.- Assist in developing pitch decks, brochures, and marketing materials.- Represent the organization at networking and business development events when required.5. Reporting & Pipeline Management :- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and opportunities in CRM systems.- Prepare weekly and monthly business development performance reports.- Track sales pipeline, conversion ratios, and revenue forecasts.- Monitor key sales metrics and provide insights for performance improvement.Required Qualifications & Experience :Education :- Bachelor s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, or related field.- MBA or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.Experience :- 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition roles.- Experience in consulting, accounting, tax, or professional services preferred.- Exposure to Indian SME and corporate markets is desirable.Key Skills & Competencies :- Strong communication and negotiation skills.- Proven ability to generate leads and close deals.- Good understanding of consulting, advisory, accounting, or tax services.- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.- Self-driven, target-oriented, and results-focused mindset.- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :- Number of qualified leads generated.- Revenue achieved and client acquisition numbers.- Proposal-to-conversion success rate.- Client retention and repeat business growth.- Sales pipeline strength and forecast accuracy.Career Growth Opportunities :This position offers strong career progression opportunities into:- Senior Business Development roles- Regional / Country Leadership roles- Strategic Partnerships and Growth Management (ref:updazz.com)
