About the RoleWe are looking for an accomplished Relationship Manager from a Private Wealth / Private Banking background to drive Mutual Fund distribution through large private banks and wealth management platforms. The role focuses on building deep, revenue-generating partnerships with Private Wealth RMs, Investment Counsellors, and senior decision-makers, enabling sustained AUM growth and market share expansionKey Responsibilities- Drive Mutual Fund sales primarily through Private Wealth and Private Banking channels.- Develop and deepen relationships with Private Wealth RMs, Senior Investment Advisors, Desk Heads, and Product Teams within private banks.- Act as a strategic partner to Private Wealth teams by supporting HNI / UHNI client engagement, portfolio construction, and investment solutions.- Conduct regular product positioning sessions, market outlook discussions, and portfolio reviews with Private Wealth RMs.- Identify and execute high-impact growth opportunities within key private banking relationships to increase wallet share.- Deliver consistent net sales, AUM accretion, and long-term asset growth aligned with business objectives.- Track competitor presence and product penetration within private wealth channels and share market intelligence.- Own territory planning, revenue targets, partner prioritization, and ensure timely MIS, reporting, and compliance adherence.Skills & Competencies- Strong understanding of mutual fund products, capital markets, and private wealth advisory models.- Proven ability to engage and influence senior Private Wealth stakeholders and HNI-facing RMs.- Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills.- Analytical and consultative approach to identifying client and partner needs.- High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a performance-driven role.- NISM VA certification (mandatory or to be completed prior to joining).Experience- Minimum 5 years in Mutual Fund Distribution Sales or Wealth/BFSI channels, with proven experience managing large private bank relationships.Qualification- Graduate/Post Graduate from a recognized institution.
