To make sure the internal records and external statements match, do monthly bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations. Compile accurate and timely financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. monitor client billing, follow up on past-due collections, and manage vendor payments and aging reports. Help with the filing and preparation of statutory tax returns while making sure that all local laws are followed. Provide the required paperwork and explain accounting procedures in order to collaborate with internal and external auditors. Help management create yearly budgets and keep an eye on differences between projected and actual spending. Keep track of capital expenditures, compute depreciation, and maintain the fixed asset register.
