Denial Parsing & Resolution: Interpret verbal or electronic payer denial explanations and systematically resolve standard errors such as incorrect patient identifiers, coordination of benefits COB issues, or missing clinical attachments during the call loop. Real-Time Data Updating: Maintain meticulous, step-by-step documentation of all conversations with insurance representatives inside the hospital&rsquos Hospital Information System HIS, capturing interaction tracking numbers, processing timelines, and agent identities. Claim Re-submission Triggering: Coordinate with the back-office billing team to instantly trigger corrected claim submissions, upload missing medical records to clearinghouses, or apply specialized billing modifiers based on verbal agent confirmation. Payer Guideline Research: Navigate complex payer policy web portals to verify specific filing limit rules, dynamic authorization criteria, and state-specific Medicaid reimbursement parameters.
