Query Performance Tuning: To reduce CPU and I/O consumption, analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize slow-running SQL queries using execution plans, index tuning tricks, and query hints. Data Modeling & Schema Design: Create logical and physical data models, making sure that they are properly normalized and strategically denormalized when high-read performance is needed. ETL Pipeline Construction: Create, put into practice, and keep an eye on reliable Extract, Transform, and Load ETL procedures to move and combine data from various transactional sources into data warehouses. Data Integrity & Security: Create and enforce primary keys, foreign keys, and relational integrity constraints put in place reliable data-masking procedures and fine-grained database security access controls. Automation & Job Scheduling: To optimize database availability and operational resilience, create and manage automated SQL Agent jobs, maintenance schedules, and backup validation scripts.
