Accounts Executive Invoicing & Vendor Payments Job Description The accountant serves as both a "Regulatory Compliance Specialist " and a "Financial Integrity Anchor " for the company finance division. Your main responsibility is to oversee, audit, and reconcile the organization 's daily financial transactions while guaranteeing complete numerical accuracy and adherence to accepted accounting standards GAAP/IFRS. As the "Ledger Accuracy Authority, " you oversee asset depreciation, handle accounts payable and receivable, balance general ledgers, and provide monthly financial statements. A highly analytical individual with an unwavering attention to detail, a "Right-First-Time " approach toward data accuracy, and extensive knowledge of spreadsheet architecture and corporate accounting software is the ideal candidate. Key Duties: Financial Statement Preparation: Create, confirm, and provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, such as cash flow summaries, balance sheets, and income statements. General Ledger Reconciliations: To find and fix variance irregularities, perform thorough daily and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet sub-ledgers. Accounts Payable & Receivable Lifecycle: Ensure proper booking to cost centers, keep an eye on aging collections, and oversee the processing of vendor bills, employee expense reports, and client billing files. Tax Compliance Preparation: Make sure that all statutory filings, such as corporate income tax, sales/use tax, withholding taxes, and payroll responsibilities, are calculated and prepared on a monthly and quarterly basis. Journal Entries & Accruals: Examine and post monthly expense accruals, payroll allocations, adjusting entries, and recurring accounting activities along with all supporting paperwork.
