Accounts Executive Keeping Accounts Accurate Job Description Experience: 0 to 3 yrs Salary: Based on Company Norms Education: Any Degree related to Accounting Location: In And Around Chennai Your Duties: General Ledger Maintenance & Bookkeeping: Keep track of daily financial transactions, accruals, journal vouchers, debit/credit notes, and prepayments in accordance with organisational controls and conventional accounting standards. Accounts Payable AP and Vendor Management: Manage payables ageing schedules, process vendor payments, check vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving notes, and respond to billing enquiries. Accounts Receivable & Credit Control: To guarantee prompt collections, prepare client invoices, monitor outstanding receivables, produce ageing reports, send out payment reminders, and reconcile customer ledgers. Bank, Cash, and Inter-Company Reconciliations: To quickly address ledger disparities, conduct weekly and monthly bank reconciliations, cashbook entries, petty cash audits, and inter-company/vendor ledger reconciliations. Statutory Compliance & Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly tax returns, calculate and process timely deductions and filings for Statutory Taxes, and gather material for internal and external audits.
