Accounts Executive End-to-End Accounting Support Job Description The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate record-keeping of financial transactions, and supporting month-end closing activities. This role involves processing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, maintaining general ledgers, and assisting with statutory tax filings to maintain financial accuracy and regulatory compliance Responsibilities Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments in the accounting system/ERP. Manage Accounts Payable AP: verify vendor invoices, reconcile purchase orders and Goods Receipt Notes GRNs, and schedule timely payments. Manage Accounts Receivable AR: generate customer invoices, track outstanding balances, send payment reminders, and follow up on overdue collections. Perform monthly bank reconciliations, vendor ledger reconciliations, and customer balance reconciliations. Assist in the calculation, filing, and deposit of statutory dues, including GST, Tax Deducted at Source TDS, and Provident Fund/ESI payments. Support month-end and year-end ledger closing activities, including journal voucher JV entries, accruals, and depreciation entries. Prepare basic financial reports, trial balances, and schedule summaries to support internal audits and external financial reviews Skills: Thoroughly understand basic accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial reporting. Working knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems Tally Prime, SAP FICO, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, logical formulas for data matching and reconciliation. Working knowledge of direct and indirect tax regulations, including GST compliance, TDS deductions, and e-invoicing workflows.
