Accountant Financial Management & Compliance Job Description Experience: 0 to 3 yrs Salary: Based on Company Norms Education: Any Degree Related to Accounting Location: In And Around Chennai Your Duties: Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records and general ledger accounts in accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards. Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including processing vendor invoices, preparing payment runs, issuing customer invoices, and managing collections. Perform monthly bank, credit card, and intercompany account reconciliations to ensure ledger integrity. Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes, including posting journal entries, accruals, and prepayments. Prepare monthly income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis reports for management review. Calculate, prepare, and file periodic tax returns (GST, VAT, Sales Tax, TDS, or Corporate Income Tax) in compliance with local tax authorities. Support internal and external audit processes by preparing audit schedules, financial documentation, and supporting schedules.
