(i) Bachelorâs Degree in Law of arecognized University or institute, (ii) Hindi as an elective or compulsory subject at the SeniorSecondary (12th) level from a recognized Board or Institute;
(iii) English as a compulsory subjectat Senior Secondary (12th) level from a recognized Board or Institute; And
(iv) (a) Translation inHindi of deeds, agreement, Bills, Acts, Rules, Regulations and Orders, in the Central Governmentor State Government or Union Territory Administration or Public Sector Undertakings orAutonomous or Statutory Bodies or Recognized Institutes or Universities for a period of threeyears; or
(b) Editing and translation in Hindi of High Court or Supreme Court judgments for threeyears; or
(c) Post Graduate Diploma in translation from an Institute recognized by the CentralGovernment or State Government.
NOTE-: The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion ofthe Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidatesotherwise well qualified.
DESIRABLE: Master Degree in Law from a recognised University orInstitute.
