Construction Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Scheduling

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, material procurement, and budgeting.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain detailed construction schedules using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

2. Budget and Cost Control

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Monitor project expenses, track costs, and ensure budget compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Approve and track subcontractor invoices and vendor payments.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising on quality.

3. Team and Resource Management

• Manage and coordinate on-site personnel, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and vendors.
• Assign tasks, monitor work progress, and ensure adherence to schedules and standards.
• Lead project meetings, including daily site briefings and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Resolve conflicts and provide guidance to team members to maintain smooth project execution.

4. Quality Assurance and Compliance

• Ensure all construction work complies with architectural, structural, and engineering designs and specifications.
• Monitor the quality of work performed and ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to check for quality and safety.
• Maintain proper documentation and reports on progress, inspections, approvals, and materials.

5. Communication and Client Coordination

• Act as the main point of contact between the client, consultants, contractors, and the company.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, handle queries, and address concerns.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure alignment on technical details and design specifications.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure client satisfaction.

6. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain complete and up-to-date records of project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and technical drawings.
