Required Delivery Boy - Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pickup and Delivery of Items:

• Pick up goods, packages, or food orders from the assigned location (restaurant, store, warehouse, or office).
• Deliver items to customers at their home, office, or other specified addresses.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries based on the provided delivery schedules.
• Handle urgent or time-sensitive deliveries efficiently.

2. Route Planning and Navigation:

• Plan the most efficient delivery route using maps, GPS devices, or delivery apps to minimize delivery time.
• Navigate city streets or rural roads to reach delivery destinations quickly and safely.
• Avoid traffic congestion or delays by using alternate routes when necessary.

3. Customer Interaction and Service:

• Communicate with customers professionally and courteously at the time of delivery.
• Obtain customer signatures, collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments if required, and issue receipts.
• Handle customer queries or minor complaints politely and report unresolved issues to supervisors.

4. Vehicle and Equipment Handling:

• Operate delivery vehicles (bike, scooter, cycle, or light motor vehicle) safely and responsibly.
• Ensure that the delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in proper working condition.
• Refuel the vehicle and conduct routine checks like tire pressure, brakes, and oil levels.

5. Handling and Safety of Goods:

• Ensure the safe transport of items, protecting them from damage, spoilage, or loss.
• Follow handling guidelines, especially for perishable items like food or fragile goods like electronics or documents.
• Use insulated delivery bags or packaging boxes when required to maintain item integrity.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

• Keep accurate records of deliveries made, payments collected, and receipts issued.
• Report delays, delivery failures, or customer complaints to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a daily log of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance, if required.

7. Compliance and Conduct:

• Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and traffic regulations.
• Wear the assigned company uniform and carry identification or delivery credentials when on duty.
