Ready Mix Concrete Sales Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven and proactive Ready Mix Concrete& Sales Associate & to join our sales team. The primary responsibility of this role is to promote and sell ready mix concrete products to contractors, builders, real estate developers, infrastructure companies, and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, basic technical knowledge of concrete products, and a passion for sales in a competitive and fast-paced environment. The Sales Associate will act as a liaison between the company and clients, ensuring that customer needs are understood and met, while achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Business Development:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for ready mix concrete sales within assigned territories.
• Generate leads through cold calling, site visits, referrals, networking, and following up on inquiries.
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospects including builders, contractors, developers, and infrastructure companies.
• Conduct regular visits to construction sites to meet clients, engineers, or procurement officers.

2. Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new customers.
• Understand client project requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules.
• Offer appropriate product solutions and pricing proposals based on customer needs.
• Resolve client concerns related to product quality, delivery timing, invoicing, and service support.

3. Sales Negotiation & Order Closure:

• Present quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales deals in line with company policies.
• Ensure timely conversion of enquiries into orders through effective follow-up and communication.
• Coordinate with the dispatch and operations team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of RMC to sites.
• Ensure proper documentation such as purchase orders, delivery notes, and contracts are maintained.

4. Technical Knowledge & Support:

• Gain a good understanding of ready mix concrete grades, mix design, workability, and usage.
• Coordinate with technical and QA/QC teams to address any product-related queries.
• Assist customers with recommendations for the most suitable concrete mix as per structural or project needs.
• Stay informed on technical trends, sustainability, and innovations in construction materials.

5. Market Intelligence & Reporting:

• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market demand within the assigned region.
• Provide regular feedback on customer preferences, market developments, and construction activities.
• Maintain accurate records of sales visits, follow-ups, client communications, and deals closed.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to the sales manager.

6. Coordination & Cross-Functional Communication:

• Collaborate with operations, logistics, batching plant teams, and finance to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
