Water Purifier Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Setup

• Install new water purifiers and filtration systems at customer premises, including wall-mounted, under-sink, and countertop models.
• Conduct pre-installation checks such as water source inspection, electrical access, and structural support.
• Configure system settings and ensure proper plumbing and electrical connections.
• Provide customers with clear demonstrations on how to use and maintain the purifier.

2. Maintenance and Servicing

• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on water purifiers, including filter replacements, membrane changes, and pump servicing.
• Clean internal components and ensure all parts are functioning correctly.
• Test water quality before and after servicing to ensure the unit is performing to standard.
• Log service history and update customer records accurately.

3. Troubleshooting and Repairs

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or water flow issues in purifiers of various brands and models.
• Replace faulty parts such as pumps, filters, UV lamps, RO membranes, or control boards.
• Repair leakages, blocked lines, sensor malfunctions, and other system failures.
• Ensure that repaired units are fully functional and safe for use.

4. Customer Service

• Interact professionally and courteously with customers, addressing their queries and concerns effectively.
• Provide maintenance tips and answer technical questions in simple, understandable terms.
• Promote annual maintenance contracts (AMC) and explain the benefits of regular servicing.
• Collect customer feedback and escalate unresolved issues to senior technicians or management.

5. Reporting and Documentation

• Complete job sheets, service reports, and inventory usage records after each visit.
• Maintain accurate records of parts used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
• Report recurring problems or defective product trends to the Service Manager.
• Ensure tools and service equipment are maintained and calibrated as needed.
