Software Developer - Entry-Level

Key Responsibilities:

1. Software Design and Development

• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications and application designs.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code according to defined software development standards and best practices.
• Develop both frontend and backend components (depending on the project requirements).
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and overall software design patterns.

2. Testing and Debugging

• Write unit tests and perform functional testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Debug existing code and troubleshoot software issues across platforms and browsers.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to identify, track, and resolve bugs and performance issues.

3. Code Review and Collaboration

• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge across the team.
• Work in an Agile or Scrum development environment, attending sprint meetings, planning sessions, and daily stand-ups.
• Communicate effectively with other developers, designers, and product stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.

4. Maintenance and Support

• Monitor applications in production environments, troubleshoot real-time issues, and deploy patches as needed.
• Maintain documentation for system architecture, codebase, and APIs for internal and external use.
• Participate in software upgrades, migrations, and security updates.

5. Continuous Learning and Improvement

• Keep up with the latest software development trends, tools, and frameworks.
• Recommend and adopt new technologies that can improve system performance and developer productivity.
• Engage in team workshops, code katas, or hackathons to foster innovation and continuous learning.
