Required Civil Engineer - Delhi

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Design:

• Study project briefs, architectural plans, and structural requirements to understand scope and objectives.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and civil design plans using AutoCAD or other design tools.
• Calculate material quantities, manpower needs, and equipment requirements for the project.
• Assist in the preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and project timelines.
• Ensure designs and plans meet local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

2. Site Supervision and Execution:

• Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites to ensure work progresses as per plan.
• Monitor construction activities including excavation, RCC, masonry, steel fixing, concreting, and finishing.
• Coordinate with contractors, site supervisors, and skilled/unskilled labor for efficient execution.
• Ensure work quality and safety measures are strictly followed on site.
• Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), site logs, and photo documentation of construction activities.

3. Quality Control and Safety:

• Inspect materials delivered to site for quality and conformity with project specifications.
• Conduct on-site tests (e.g., slump tests, cube tests) and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Implement and enforce safety measures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Report defects, non-conformities, or delays and work proactively to resolve them.

4. Coordination and Communication:

• Liaise with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and MEP engineers for technical clarifications.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address queries.
• Work closely with procurement and store teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Attend project meetings and contribute to planning, resource management, and risk mitigation.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain and update project documents including drawings, contracts, test reports, and approvals.
• Prepare progress reports and submit updates to senior management or clients as required.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and final project handover documents.
• Ensure that all project documentation is organized and accessible for audits or inspections.
