Job Description
IT Sales Executive is& responsible for driving revenue growth by selling IT products and services.& They should& identify potential customers, build relationships, and negotiate sales to meet or exceed targets.& This role involves understanding customer needs, presenting solutions, and closing deals.& They also keep up with industry trends and competitive landscapes.&

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation and Prospecting

  • Identify potential clients through research, networking, online platforms, cold calling, and lead generation tools.
  • Qualify leads based on their business needs, budget, and decision-making capacity.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities to meet sales targets.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Initiate contact and build long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Understand client needs and suggest appropriate IT products or services (software, hardware, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, etc.).
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demos (virtually or on-site) to showcase solutions.

3. Solution Selling

  • Customize product/service pitches according to client-specific business challenges.
  • Act as a technical consultant to address client queries with support from the pre-sales or technical team when needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tech, product, support) to deliver tailored proposals.

4. Proposal and Negotiation

  • Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and RFP responses in coordination with the internal pricing and product team.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements in line with company policies and revenue goals.
  • Close sales deals through persuasive and value-driven selling techniques.

5. Reporting and Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).
  • Provide regular sales reports, revenue forecasts, and updates to sales leadership.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, risks, and improvement areas.

6. Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis

  • Stay updated with market trends, customer behavior, and competitor offerings.
  • Gather feedback from the market and relay valuable insights to the product development or marketing team.
  • Suggest strategies for pricing, promotion, and positioning based on real-time data.

7. Post-Sales Support

  • Coordinate with the onboarding and support teams to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Address post-sales queries, billing issues, and service-related concerns promptly.
  • Encourage renewals, upsells, and referrals through trust-based client engagement.
