Delivery Field Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery Execution

• Pick up packages, orders, or shipments from the warehouse, distribution center, or pickup points as scheduled.
• Deliver goods to customers or client addresses within the assigned territory on time and in perfect condition.
• Follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely delivery while reducing fuel and time costs.
• Verify customer details, check delivery orders, and ensure items match the shipping paperwork before handover.

2. Customer Interaction

• Communicate professionally and courteously with customers upon delivery.
• Obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery through mobile apps, digital devices, or paperwork.
• Address customer questions or concerns during delivery, escalating issues to the supervisor when necessary.
• Provide excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

3. Documentation and Reporting

• Accurately complete delivery logs, status updates, and reporting through digital tools or logbooks.
• Report delays, failed deliveries, or route issues promptly to the operations or dispatch team.
• Handle cash on delivery (COD) or digital payment collection when applicable, and reconcile collected amounts at the end of the day.

4. Vehicle and Equipment Management

• Ensure company vehicles (scooter, bike, van, etc.) are clean, maintained, and operated in a safe condition.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any faults or maintenance needs.
• Handle packages with care, especially fragile, perishable, or high-value items.
• Ensure correct use of delivery tools, scanners, or mobile apps provided for route management.

5. Compliance and Safety

• Adhere to all road safety rules, company driving policies, and delivery protocols.
• Maintain a clean driving record and follow proper loading/unloading techniques to avoid damage.
• Use proper protective equipment when required and comply with any health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect customer privacy at all times.

6. Coordination and Teamwork

• Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customer service teams to manage daily routes and updates.
• Report feedback from customers or field observations that may improve the delivery experience.
• Assist other delivery team members in peak periods or high-volume days when required.
