Job Description
Profile name: Retail MechandiserQualification: BBA, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field Experience: 3 to 5 YearsLocaton: Gurgaon Salary: 6 LPA to 8 LPA(CTC)JD Of RETAIL MERCHANDISER:In the apparel industry, a merchandiser plays a crucial role in connecting buyers and exporters, ensuring smooth order execution from initial concept to shipment, coordinating with various departments, and managing production, quality control, and delivery. Key Responsibilities:- Order Management:- Order Processing: Coordinating the processing of garment orders, including order confirmation, payment processing, and ensuring all necessary details are documented accurately.
-Order Analysis: Analyzing orders to understand requirements and ensure feasibility.
-Sampling: Managing the creation and approval of garment samples.
-Communication: Serving as the main point of contact between buyers and the production team, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.
-Production Coordination :- Production Planning : Developing production schedules and timelines to ensure timely delivery.
-Supplier Management : Sourcing and managing suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring quality standards are met.
-Quality Control : Monitoring production quality and addressing any issues that arise.
-Costing : Involved in determining production costs and pricing strategies.
-Logistics and Shipping : - Shipping Coordination : Ensuring that goods are shipped on time and in the correct condition.
-Documentation : Preparing and managing all necessary shipping documents. Other Responsibilities :- Trend Analysis : Researching and understanding current and upcoming fashion trends to inform product development.
-Inventory Management : Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring that the right products are available at the right time.
-Relationship Building : Developing and maintaining strong relationships with buyers and suppliers.
-Communication : Communicating with various departments, including design, production, and quality control, to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications :- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, Buying and Planning- Proficiency in MS EXEL- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and retail operations.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.- Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentSalary: 6 LPA to 8 LPA(CTC) (ref:updazz.com)
