Female Accountant Intern

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Accounting Entries:
   • Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions using Tally ERP.
   • Maintain general ledger accounts, update journal entries, and prepare basic financial statements.
   • Assist in voucher preparation, invoice processing, and bill payments.
2. Data Management and Reconciliation:
   • Enter financial data into appropriate databases and software systems.
   • Perform bank reconciliations and supplier/customer account reconciliations.
   • Monitor and update records related to accounts receivable and payable.
3. Support in GST and Tax Filings:
   • Assist the team in preparing data for Goods & Services Tax (GST) returns.
   • Organize relevant documents and maintain compliance records for audit and taxation purposes.
4. Excel Reporting and Analysis:
   • Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track expenses, sales, and other financial data.
   • Use Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Charts for basic financial analysis and reporting.
   • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports under the guidance of the senior accountant.
5. Documentation and Filing:
   • Ensure proper filing and maintenance of physical and digital documents related to finance.
   • Scan and archive invoices, receipts, bills, and other financial documents.
6. Support in Auditing Process:
   • Help in gathering necessary documents and data required during internal or external audits.
   • Work with the audit team to ensure all entries and reports are accurate and up-to-date.
7. Administrative and Miscellaneous Support:
   • Assist in various administrative functions related to the finance department.
   • Perform any other duties as required by the accounts team or senior management.
