Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the end-to-end process of secured loan products such as home loans, loan against property (LAP), auto loans, or equipment loans. This includes customer acquisition, credit evaluation, documentation, and post-disbursement support while ensuring adherence to regulatory and risk policies.
Key Duties:
Identify and onboard customers for secured loan products.
Evaluate collateral such as property, vehicle, or equipment and coordinate with valuers and legal teams.
Conduct credit assessments and recommend loan limits.
Manage loan documentation, ensuring all legal and compliance checks are complete.
Work with credit and risk teams to ensure approval and disbursal within timelines.
Maintain and grow customer relationships post-disbursal.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Acquisition

  • Identify and approach prospective customers for secured loan products through cold calling, referrals, field visits, events, and channel partnerships .
  • Educate potential customers about available loan products, features, eligibility criteria, interest rates, repayment schedules, and benefits.
  • Generate leads and maintain a robust sales pipeline through continuous field activity and relationship management.

2. Needs Assessment & Product Matching

  • Understand customer requirements in detail through meetings or field discussions.
  • Recommend suitable loan products based on financial background, property ownership, and income eligibility.
  • Clearly explain product differences, tenure options, EMI structures, and documentation needs.

3. Documentation and Application Processing

  • Assist customers with complete and accurate documentation including identity proof, income proof, property papers, bank statements, and other KYC details.
  • Ensure timely collection of application forms and documents required for loan processing.
  • Conduct basic verification and field investigation (FI) checks where required before submission to the credit team.

4. Credit Coordination and Loan Sanctioning

  • Coordinate with the credit underwriting team for customer profiling, risk assessment, and valuation processes.
  • Liaise with property valuers, legal panel, and technical officers for property verification and collateral assessment.
  • Follow up proactively to resolve discrepancies and expedite approval timelines.

5. Post-Sanction & Disbursement Support

  • Guide the customer through the loan agreement signing, ECS/NACH setup, and disbursement documentation .
  • Ensure timely execution of disbursement formalities and keep the customer informed of status updates.
  • Coordinate with internal disbursement teams to resolve pending issues or clarifications.

6. Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and trust throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Provide after-sales support such as loan account clarification, top-up offers, and balance transfer services.
  • Encourage referrals and generate repeat business from existing customers.
