Required Store Promoter - Bangalore

Job Summary:

A Store Promoter is responsible for actively engaging with customers within a retail store environment to promote a specific brand, product line, or campaign. The goal is to increase brand awareness, drive product interest, and boost sales through direct customer interaction, product demonstrations, and persuasive selling techniques. The ideal candidate is outgoing, confident, and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly understand customer needs. This role is vital in enhancing the customer experience and directly contributes to the company s retail marketing success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Engagement:

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and approach potential buyers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Engage with shoppers to introduce and promote featured products or brands.
• Build rapport with customers, understand their preferences, and suggest products that meet their needs.
• Answer questions about product specifications, pricing, availability, and usage confidently and accurately.
• Distribute product brochures, flyers, and promotional materials as required.

2. Product Demonstration & Promotion:

• Perform live product demonstrations to show features, functionality, and benefits.
• Explain complex product features in simple, relatable terms to help customers make informed decisions.
• Create excitement and interest around the product to increase walk-ins and conversions.
• Set up promotional displays and ensure they are attractive, well-organized, and compliant with visual merchandising standards.

3. Sales Conversion:

• Encourage and influence customers to make purchases by highlighting unique selling points and special promotions.
• Assist customers in locating products in the store and direct them to appropriate sections.
• Provide product comparisons if applicable to aid the buying process.
• Collaborate with the store sales team to close sales and meet daily or weekly targets.

4. Brand Representation:

• Act as a brand ambassador, representing the brand 's image, voice, and values consistently.
• Wear brand-appropriate attire, maintain grooming standards, and adhere to conduct guidelines.
• Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism at all times, even during high-traffic or stressful periods.
• Educate customers about brand heritage, values, and any ongoing campaigns or loyalty programs.

5. Reporting & Feedback:

• Maintain a daily log of customer interactions, feedback, and sales achieved.
• Report customer concerns, market trends, or competitor activity to the store or marketing manager.
• Share ideas for improving promotional effectiveness and customer engagement strategies.
• Participate in regular debriefing meetings and provide insights from the shop floor.
