Experience Required: 5 to 10 yearsMode of Employment : Full time/Permanent - Direct role with clientMode of Work : Work From Office (MON - FRI).Work Location : Irungattukottai, Chennai.General Job Description:The role demands an experienced Salesperson with a record of accomplishment of success in selling Products and package equipment in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical & power sectors, After Market services etc. to cover assigned regions.Duties & Responsibilities:- To develop strong relationships with clients, identify business opportunities, enhance market transparency and increase customer satisfaction.- Responsible for achieving assigned Sales/Bookings Targets in India/Bangladesh Markets. including accurate Bookings forecasts and reporting.- Major contributions needed to establish Client s India Business unit.- Promote Life Cycle/After Market Services.- Post Sales Payments recoveries.- Establish, maintain, and improve on customer contacts, customer relationship and communication- New customers acquisition.- Drive New Product Development and opportunities.- Coordination with Proposals/Technical Team to offer best Technical & Commercial solutions for customers.- Coordination with order execution team for successful order completion and delivery.- Work with the Sales Teams of other regions.- Forecast Sales Opportunities/Bookings for Annual Operating Plans/Budgets.- Market Intelligence. Gathering both technical and commercial information s including competition strategies are an important part of this assignment.- Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.- Work in line with the Company s compliance and business conduct guidelines.- Implementation of Health and Safety management system.- Participation in Internal Audits. Ensure the audit observations are completed within the time frame- Complying with company procedures and policies.- Takes part in major accident / incident investigation, when needed & the implementation of control measuresEducation & Training:- Bachelor of Engineering (BE / B. TECH) in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation from a reputed university with good academic record. MBA Degree would be preferred.- 5 to 7 Years working Experience preferably in India Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries Sales / Business Development.- Experience of Sales to India O & G EPC s / Contractor s is desirable.Skills & Abilities:- Have sharp analytical skills to review cost estimates and have positive discussions with Proposal / Technical teams.- Sales exposure in handling products such as Accumulators, regulators, filters, strainers, package equipment such as chemical injection, hydraulic powerpacks, booster units, testing rigs, etc.,- Thorough understanding of Commercial Terms & conditions.- Knowledge of Process Applications in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and power Industries.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Shall have good knowledge in technical applications to provide suitable solutions to customer.Leadership & Behavioral Competencies:- Drive to achieve Sales Targets- Teamwork- Work ethics- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines- Shall be sincere and dedicatedTechnical Competencies:- Understanding of hydraulic products, package equipment & their applications.- Ability to read and understand drawings such as P&ID, General Arrangement drawings, product drawings, etc.,- Communicate the sales team s vision.- Continuously manage and upgrade the sales process and measure performance.- Identify & implement Best practices for wins.
