Required Sales Associate - Pune

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shop Opening and Closing Duties:

• Arrive at the store on time (by 10:30 AM) every day.
• Assist in opening the shutters , turning on lights, music, air conditioning, and preparing the store for business.
• Ensure the shop is cleaned and shelves are arranged neatly before customers arrive.
• At closing time (10:30 PM), ensure the store is properly shut down:
  • Turn off electricals
  • Lock doors
  • Ensure cash, bills, and products are safely secured

2. Customer Assistance & Sales:

• Greet walk-in customers warmly and help them with size, style, or product selection.
• Explain product features, prices, materials, and offers clearly.
• Suggest matching garments or accessories to increase average billing (upselling and cross-selling).
• Assist customers in the trial room and provide honest feedback when asked.
• Handle customer complaints politely and escalate if required.

3. Stock Management & Display:

• Ensure that products are well-arranged, folded, or hung properly on shelves or mannequins.
• Assist in unpacking new stock, pricing tags, and stocking inventory .
• Regularly check if any items are damaged, missing, or incorrectly placed.
• Rearrange clothes after customer trials to keep the store tidy.

4. Billing & Record-Keeping (if required):

• Assist with using the billing machine, calculator, or POS system (training will be provided if needed).
• Note down daily sales in a register or app as guided by the shop owner.
• Maintain receipts and basic customer records if required for follow-up.

5. Shop Cleanliness & Safety:

• Sweep and clean the shop floors before opening and after closing.
• Dust shelves, clean mirrors, trial rooms, and keep drinking water (if provided) hygienic.
• Help maintain a pleasant and welcoming shopping environment.

Required Qualities:

• Punctual and Reliable Timely reporting is mandatory.
