Required Sales Manager - Kolkata

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and drive our sales team towards achieving business targets and expanding market presence. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives or executives, building strong customer relationships, and overseeing the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure. This role is critical to driving revenue growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring long-term business success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals.
• Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the team and monitor performance.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.

2. Team Management:

• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage the sales team.
• Assign sales territories, monitor team activity, and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Motivate the team to achieve individual and team targets through coaching and support.

3. Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Resolve client issues, provide product knowledge, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.

4. Lead Generation & Sales Execution:

• Oversee lead generation activities through direct sales, referrals, digital marketing, and networking.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitch, proposal, negotiation, closing, and after-sales support.
• Ensure timely follow-ups and lead conversion using CRM or tracking systems.

5. Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and dashboards for senior management.
• Track sales metrics like revenue, pipeline, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
• Recommend improvements based on data insights and market feedback.

6. Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work closely with marketing, operations, product, and finance teams to align business objectives.
• Collaborate on marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Ensure pricing, contracts, and delivery commitments are handled correctly.
