Required General Manager - Hyderabad

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven General Manager with a strong background in the wholesale women s wear industry . The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and customer handling skills , a deep understanding of women s fashion trends (ethnic, western, Indo-western, etc.), and proven experience in wholesale business operations. This is a senior role requiring strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to manage clients, inventory, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Relationship Management:

• Handle key wholesale customer accounts and ensure long-term relationships
• Meet and communicate with retailers, distributors, and buying agents regularly
• Understand customer preferences and recommend products accordingly
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the wholesale network

Product & Inventory Knowledge:

• Stay updated with the latest women s fashion trends, fabrics, cuts, colors, and seasonal demands
• Guide the sales and buying team in product selection and assortment
• Ensure all product displays are attractive and aligned with current trends
• Monitor stock levels, fast-moving items, and plan timely restocking

Team Management:

• Lead and supervise sales staff, back-office teams, and store assistants
• Set sales targets and monitor team performance
• Train team members on customer service, product features, and upselling techniques
• Maintain discipline and motivation in the team

Operations & Business Strategy:

• Oversee daily business operations including wholesale orders, dispatches, billing, and returns
• Manage vendor relationships, quality control, and order fulfillment timelines
• Develop and implement business growth strategies and promotional campaigns
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, customer data, and inventory reports
• Ensure efficient logistics, packaging, and customer service
