Video Editor Responsibilities:- Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring high quality and seamless transitions, audio synchronization, and visual effects.- Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Video Editor and creative team to understand project requirements, deadlines, and objectives.- Content Enhancement: Incorporate graphics, sound effects, music, and other elements to enhance video content.- Consistency: Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all video content.- File Management: Organize and manage digital assets, including archiving and retrieving video footage.- Feedback Implementation: Incorporate feedback from the Senior Video Editor and other team members to refine video content.- Research: Stay updated on industry trends, editing techniques, and new software to continually improve video editing skills.- Quality Control: Review and proof final videos to ensure they meet quality standards before submission.Qualifications:- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical skills.- Education: Bachelor s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred.- Software Proficiency: Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar.- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for online video platforms.- Creative Skills: Ability to tell a compelling story through video, with a good sense of timing, pacing, and composition.- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail with the ability to catch and correct mistakes or inconsistencies.- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.- Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.- AI Tools: Knowledge of latest AI tools which assist in video production can be a great plus.- Motion graphics in the portfolio can be a great plus.
