Wanted Accounts Executive, Chennai

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our growing finance team in Chennai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in Tally ERP.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Process invoices, bills, payments, and expense reports accurately and efficiently.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial records regularly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally ERP.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and errors.
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding accounting matters.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor 's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Must have: Proven proficiency in Tally ERP.
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of GST and other statutory compliance requirements is a plus.
