Key Responsibilities:

1. Debt Collection and Recovery:

• Contact customers with overdue accounts to remind them of outstanding dues through calls, SMS, emails, and field visits.
• Initiate and follow up on recovery actions for personal loans, credit cards, home loans, vehicle loans, and other financial products.
• Educate customers on the consequences of default and help them understand their payment obligations.

2. Negotiation and Payment Arrangements:

• Engage customers in dialogue to understand reasons for non-payment and financial distress.
• Offer suitable repayment solutions such as rescheduling, settlements, or restructuring of loans.
• Obtain and document commitments for repayment, ensuring follow-ups for adherence.

3. Field Visits and On-ground Recovery:

• Visit borrower addresses and business locations to conduct recovery efforts.
• Verify the customer s current financial status and assess intent and ability to repay.
• Take legal or non-legal recovery steps as per the bank 's protocols and guidelines.

4. Compliance with RBI and Internal Guidelines:

• Ensure that all recovery efforts strictly follow RBI regulations and the Code of Conduct for Debt Recovery Agents .
• Avoid rude, coercive, or illegal practices in the recovery process.
• Maintain full confidentiality of customer information and sensitive data.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, payment commitments, follow-ups, and recoveries.
• Use recovery management tools, CRM, or field apps to update visit and call outcomes in real-time.
• Submit daily and weekly reports to the Recovery Manager or Team Leader.

6. Coordination and Teamwork:

• Coordinate with branch officials, legal teams, and credit officers to facilitate recovery actions.
• Escalate chronic defaulters to senior recovery or legal teams for further action.
• Participate in regular reviews, recovery drives, and performance meetings.
