Job Summary: The Data Entry Analyst plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and usable information in company databases and systems. This position involves entering, verifying, and analyzing large volumes of data with high attention to detail and accuracy. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively across departments. They ensure data integrity and support decision-making processes by providing clean, reliable data. Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Maintenance:
- Enter data from various source documents into prescribed databases, files, and formats.
- Update and maintain information on company databases and computer systems.
- Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry.
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check output.
Data Validation and Quality Assurance:
- Perform regular data integrity and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and correct data entry errors, discrepancies, and duplicates.
- Communicate with relevant departments to obtain missing or unclear information.
- Apply data validation techniques to ensure data meets organizational standards.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Compile, verify, and analyze data to generate reports for management and stakeholders.
- Use data tools to detect trends, anomalies, or issues that may impact business decisions.
- Prepare summaries and presentations of data findings as needed.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with teams across departments such as sales, operations, finance, and marketing to gather, verify, and utilize data effectively.
- Serve as a liaison between data users and database management to resolve data issues.
- Assist with the development and documentation of data entry procedures and standards.
Confidentiality and Compliance:
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information and adhere to data protection regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and data management protocols.
Continuous Improvement:
- Suggest process improvements to increase data accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest data management technologies and best practices.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor 's degree in business administration, information systems, statistics, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk, data analyst, or similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (functions, pivot tables, charts).
Familiarity with data entry systems and database management software (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, SQL, or CRM tools).
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
