Warehouse Management Cum Delivery Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and proactive Warehouse Management cum Delivery Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse while also coordinating delivery processes. This role requires a balance of effective warehouse management, inventory control, and coordination of deliveries to ensure timely and accurate distribution of goods to customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations Management:

• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all stock is properly logged in the system. Perform regular stock audits to ensure accuracy.
• Receiving & Storing Goods: Oversee the receipt of incoming shipments and ensure they are properly stored in the warehouse according to established procedures.
• Stock Organization: Organize warehouse space efficiently, ensuring goods are properly categorized and easy to locate when needed.
• Order Fulfillment: Oversee the picking, packing, and preparation of orders for dispatch. Ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure that the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.

2. Delivery Coordination:

• Delivery Scheduling: Coordinate the scheduling of deliveries to customers based on delivery routes and customer preferences.
• Driver Coordination: Liaise with drivers to ensure that deliveries are executed on time. Assign drivers to specific routes based on the type of delivery and urgency.
• Route Optimization: Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize delivery routes, ensuring cost efficiency and timely deliveries.
• Tracking & Reporting: Track deliveries to ensure timely and accurate completion, and report any delays or issues to the relevant departments. Communicate with customers regarding delivery statuses when needed.
• Issue Resolution: Handle any delivery-related issues, such as delays, damages, or wrong shipments, and coordinate resolution efforts.

3. Customer Interaction:

• Customer Service: Respond to customer queries regarding delivery status, delays, or issues. Maintain a high standard of communication and professionalism when interacting with customers.
• Delivery Confirmation: Ensure that customers receive their orders and confirm the delivery process. Follow up on customer satisfaction after deliveries are completed.

4. Documentation & Reporting:

• Delivery Reports: Prepare daily/weekly delivery reports detailing successful deliveries, pending orders, and any issues encountered.
• Inventory Reports: Maintain accurate records of goods received, stored, and dispatched, and ensure reports are up-to-date.
• Documentation Handling: Ensure all necessary documents related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and delivery are properly filed and accessible.

5. Coordination with Other Departments:

• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, customer service, and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise during the delivery process.
• Product Returns: Oversee the handling of returned products and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure products are properly restocked or processed.
