Job Description
- Territory: Mumbai, Maharashtra (on-ground role)- Location: Mumbai- Work Type: In-person | Travel-heavy field role- Average Deal Size: 520 Lakhs- Quota: Monthly sales targetCompany & Team Context:Discover Resorts Ltd is a pre-IPO hospitality brand on a mission to build India s most loved budget resort chain. We re already a household name with over 250 destination weddings executed and 10,000 monthly guests across our resorts in Karjat, Khandala, and Pali.We ve built a strong digital inbound engine. Now, we re unlocking our next phase of growth with a high-touch outbound sales motion and you ll be leading it.You ll report directly to the CRO and work closely with our call center, marketing, and on-ground property teams. You ll also lead a small outbound sales team over time.How Success is Measured:We ll evaluate your performance based on:- Meetings set- Pipeline generated- Deals closed- Revenue attainmentNecessary Skills & Experience:- 5 years of field sales experience in corporate-facing roles (pharma/FMCG preferred)- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills- Comfortable using Zoho CRM, WhatsApp, and productivity tools- High energy, self-motivated, and loves face-to-face selling- Willingness to travel extensively across Mumbai and MaharashtraWhat You ll Actually Do:- Run the complete 3060 day sales cycle: from prospecting to close- Own relationships with Admin, HR, and L&D leaders at corporate clients- Conduct 2025 field meetings per week with prospective buyers- Convert warm leads provided by the call center and generate new leads- Pitch Discover s resort offerings with in-person visits, proposals, and tours- Identify repeat business opportunities, group bookings, and cross-property deals- Ensure on-ground execution by coordinating with operations and guest teamsReal Challenges of the Role:- This isn t a desk job it s true feet-on-street field sales- You ll be independently managing your schedule, meetings, and reporting- Relationship-building takes time and closing large deals takes patience- You ll need to show real sales traction to maintain incentive eligibility (1x hurdle after 3 months)Application Timelines:- Important Note- We do not evaluate candidates based on resumes alone.
