Required Accountant Executive - Bangalore

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced, responsible, and detail-oriented Accountant Executive who can independently manage the accounts department and ensure smooth financial operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles, taxation, and compliance while also being comfortable handling bank-related tasks, government office visits, and follow-ups on receivables . This role requires an individual with excellent organizational skills, communication abilities, and proficiency in MS Office tools . Since this position involves visiting banks and government offices , owning a two-wheeler is mandatory .

Key Responsibilities

1. Independent Handling of Accounts Department

• Manage the end-to-end accounting operations of the company.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and journals .
• Prepare trial balances, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets .
• Ensure proper maintenance of vendor, customer, and inter-company accounts .

2. Receivables & Payables Management

• Monitor outstanding payments from clients and follow up regularly.
• Process vendor and supplier payments on time.
• Reconcile debtor and creditor balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the sales and business development teams for timely collections .

3. Banking & Government Office Coordination

• Visit banks for tasks such as cheque deposits, withdrawals, document submissions, and loan coordination .
• Liaise with government offices for statutory filings, licenses, and approvals.
• Follow up on receivables, legal documentation, and compliance matters .
• Ensure all financial activities are conducted smoothly and efficiently.

4. Taxation & Compliance

• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory tax compliances independently.
• File monthly, quarterly, and annual returns as per government deadlines.
• Maintain proper records for audits, inspections, and assessments .
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.

5. Bank Reconciliation & Cash Flow Management

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations .
• Manage company cash flow to ensure sufficient working capital.
• Monitor cheque clearances, online transfers, and other financial transactions.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts to support decision-making.

6. Financial Reporting & MIS

• Generate financial reports for management on a regular basis.
• Prepare budget vs. actual performance reports to track financial efficiency.
• Provide insights into cost optimization and revenue improvements .
• Assist management with strategic financial planning .

7. MS Office & Email Communication

• Prepare financial reports and presentations using MS Excel and PowerPoint .
• Draft professional emails and manage vendor, client, and bank communications .
